We feed the kids a nutritious, organic snack each morning. They should bring their own lunch, a jacket, and good walking shoes for our daily meander to the local playground.
All materials (JAMband CDs, arts and craft supplies, organic snacks, etc.) are included. We also make our own t-shirts at camp!
At 2:30pm on the last day of each week-long camp, we will present a performance for the campers' families. No Extended Care this afternoon.

K - 3rd grade (ages 5-8)

JAMcamp is a super-fun and enriched opportunity to dive deep into the JAMband musical world through the vehicles of singing, dancing, creative drama, songwriting, art creation, crafting and playing for kids in Kindergarten - 3nd grade, culminating in a performance of our own creation at the end of each week. JAMcamp is an experience your children will remember forever, overflowing with love, creativity, and the basic honoring of their voices and fundamental human need to connect, play, and be magical! We LOVE our job, and hope you will join us for this very important work of LEARNning through the vehicles of music, dance, theater, art and PLAY.

Note for the week of Aug 9-13: Charity will be joined by JAMspace's drama instructor, Ashley Cowan, for a drama intensive we're calling Presenting a Play...see below for more info.
Note for the week of Aug 23-27: We're offering a MWF option for pre-schoolers (at least 4 years of age) this week only. Cost is $100 less. Email Charity to confirm availability before registering your child for this option.

In addition to offering the standard JAMcamp fare (see above), this camp immerses children in the magical world of creative drama! Students will act out classic and contemporary stories, as well as work toward creating our own unique adventure. Major emphasis will be placed on pantomime, improvisation, character development, set creation and the fundamentals of story structure. Using fun improvisational techniques, students will create their own play to perform at the end of the week!
