Week-long camps: $360/week. $50 sibling or multi-week discount
We feed the kids a nutritious, organic snack each morning. Please send along a healthy lunch, a jacket, and good walking shoes for our daily meanders to the local playground, Ortega library and tree-hugging nature walks.
All materials (JAMband CDs, arts and craft supplies, organic snacks, etc.) are included.
At 2pm on the last day of each week-long camp, we will present a performance for the campers' families, followed by a short walk to the near-by and fabulously-new West Sunset Playground (next to Ortega Branch Library) for a potluck celebration!

JAMcamp this year will be smaller (max of 12 kids/week), and held in my own home in the Outer Sunset. I have been studying the rich topic of Mindfulness in Education (via Mindful Schools, Jon Kabat-Zinn, and Spirit Rock Meditation Center), and will be adding some wonderful mindfulness curriculum to our JAM staples of music, dance, drama, art and play. Please note that space will be quite limited, as I have reduced the max class size from 18 to 12. Hope to see you there!
Ages: K - 4th grade (ages 5-8)*
Description: JAMcamp is a super-fun and enriched opportunity to dive deep into the JAMband musical world through the vehicles of singing, dancing, creative drama, songwriting, art creation, crafting, mindfulness and playing for kids in Kindergarten* - 4th grade. We offer week-long summer and school-break camps, and day-long mini-camps throughout the year (week-long camps culminate in a performance of our own creation!)
JAMcamp is an experience your children will remember forever, overflowing with love, creativity, and the basic honoring of their voices and fundamental human need to connect, play, and be magical! We LOVE our job, and hope you will join us for this very important work of LEARNning through the vehicles of music, dance, theater, art and PLAY.
*Note on Ages: We accept a limited number of PreK/4-year-olds each day/week. Please email charity before registering if your child is 4 years old to confirm availability. Thank you!

"One week of Charity's JAMcamp reminded me of why I am raising my children in San Francisco. My 5 year old daughter sings "Breathe in the Love, Breathe out the Peace" to herself on a regular basis. She knows what infinity means. Sending her to Charity's camp makes me feel like the parent I wanted to be when I was 21 years old....But as a real mom, I had complete trust and confidence in Charity to take care of my daughter and make sure that she was not only singing, dancing and generally having a blast, but also that she was completely nurtured. The dynamics and structure of the camp ensured that my daughter made new friends instantly. Three months later, she is STILL talking about what they did at camp that week. We now spend our car trips singing together to Charity's music (all of her CDs are included!), and it is a great bonding time for us. While I am not a fan of "kids music," Charity is the exception. I actually enjoy it (almost) as much as my daughter and it's providing her with a great foundation of what "good music" means. I have visions of us dancing and twirling at concerts and festivals for years to come. Thank you Charity!"
