Mother to Jake and Lily, Andrea Gosline is the author of numerous children's picture books and parenting titles, including the award-winning Celebrating Motherhood. Her engaging presentations inspire children and their grown-ups to celebrate the natural world and plant seeds of happiness in their communities.
A native San Franciscan, Andrea self-published her first poetry book, a scroll tied with red ribbon, when she was six. At high school graduation, she was awarded the Bank of America English Achievement Award by her creative writing teacher, and the rest is herstory! The framed certificate still hangs in her writing studio as a beacon for her career as a poet and presenter.
Andrea has worn many entrepreneurial hats -- from owning a natural food store and teaching kids healthy cooking classes to writing lifestyle newspaper columns and producing large scale events for the National Parks Association, the Salvation Army, and the American Heart Association. She lives in her favorite San Francisco neighborhood with her husband, two children, and the family mascot, an Irish Setter named Dusty. For more info, check out www.ambledance.com
